Just six Motown Knights gigs so far for July. Lloydie and I are starvin’ here. We’re jus’ skin n’ bone and livin’ in cardboard boxes now. We need more gigs or we gonna have to do somethin’ drastic…like gate crash a Michael Jackson Tribute! May his soul Rest in Peace…

Anyway we hope to see you at one of our gigs this month … We’ll be adding to the gig list as the month progresses….Meanwhile it looks like tree bark and rain water for tea again. Damn!

Well – I think I can truly say that I’ve excelled myself in being late to update the Motown Knights gig list this month. I mean – 10th of April and I’ve only just got around to it! In fairness though I do have a pretty good excuse – apart from being a rock star. You see…and it’s hard for me to talk about this…but… I was abducted by aliens taken to the planet Teknillion, and forced to procreate with a tiny blue female called “Edna”. I’ve only just got back…and I’m knackered.

The “Emmanuel” that some of you saw performing last weekend with the Motown Knights at Van Dyk’s etc was in fact Edna’s pet android – “Sigmus”…

So now you know – and I hope you’ll be understanding and sympathetic to my plight.

As regards the number of Motown Knights gigs for April  – well – to think I thought March was bad!? If you see me and / or Lloyd B Richards beggin’ on Fargate this month please don’t walk by – give generously…

OK folks I know I’m late puttin’ up the Motown Knights Gig List this month but – hey, I’m a pop star musician – and being late is – mandatory LOL.
